Durofast is an air drying, quality, gloss equipment enamel designed for use over suitably prepared and primed substrates. Durofast is based on a modified synthetic alkyd resin to provide good durability and weather resistance in mild industrial and commercial environments. Durofast Enamel can be applied over a variety of suitably primed and prepared surfaces. Products suitable as primers for Durofast include Duraprime HB and Altra~Etch®.

Durofast may also be used in maintenance repaint situations, where surfaces have been suitably prepared and primed.

Durofast Enamel is recommended for use on:

• Machinery
• Electrical Switchboards
• Heavy duty earthmoving equipment
• Light Industrial equipment, conveyors, compressors etc
• Forkhoists and various transport related items
• Commercial Transport-Chassis, canopys etc
• Interior structural steel
• Handrails (High opacity Safety Yellow)
